But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Noah’s name appears 47 times in the bible and that of Moses 833 times. Noah died at the age 900 while Moses died at the age 120.
If Noah was given the time to write the Bible we would understand why the coming of Jesus chose His days as a template than those of Moses.
Matthew 24 has 51 verses that explain the signs of the coming of Jesus but only one verse sums up all signs and that is “the days of Noah”. Bibliical scholars have taken a lot of pain to write many books about the wars and the signs in heavens but have neglected the verse that sums up all that the coming of Jesus contains.
If Noah lived for 900 years then his sons are expected to live a minimum 500 years. Now Prophet Ham could have lived 500 years but the deed of 30 minutes of his life has removed all the memories of his glorious 500 years in life.
He was blessed with longer life than many of us but the climax of his life is when he launches his ministry based on the nakedness of his father. Prophet Ham lived in glorious years of long life. This is sufficient proof that he lived a life of the highest quality.
Just as this event happened in the days of Noah so shall it be in our days of the coming of the Son of Man.
Our philosophy of life these days does not excuse any of us in making the nakedness of our fathers the launch pad of our political career; business or ministry.
If 500 years of quality life is erased by this act of Prophet Ham; how much more in us who have done much more than Prophet Ham?
Lord examine our sonship.
