Wilderness Experience 6 – Rain Down or Spring Forth III

One thing my spiritual father always said to me was: Tone it down son. I have a weakness of coming out strong in my writings but I want you to know its from a well meaning and loving heart. Right at the end of this lesson; I might offend people I love and respect. I speak things that will be future debates in other minds. So forgive me if I have stepped on you. If you have not started with the conference some of these lessons may be complicated to others. Let’s go and hear:

The last session ended with very important two Wilderness Experiences. One experience was of New Believers.
These are reflected by Israel as they moved from Egypt to Canaan. The other experience was of Mature Sons. This is reflected by Israel from Babylon to Jerusalem.

Now God addresses these two groups differently. He also shows that He moves differently to these two groups.
He can send one Prophet to both but the move will not be the same. To the New Believer He Rains Down because there is no Word inside him. This New Believer comes Knowing Nothing.

But to the Mature Son God will Spring Forth. Because He is the Word deposited over the years within.
The New Believers received the Rain of the Word from above and they asked the question: Manna? What is it?

Now as Mature Son the biggest deception will be to compare yourself with a New Believer. As things Rain Down on them you may feel left behind. You will think that they love God more and you love Him less.
The Pentecostal and Charismatic Movement did a wonderful job to nurture this kind of a believer.

However it was not fully equipped to nurture Mature Sons. They even discouraged Mature Sons by comparing them with New Believers. They had sufficient grace to feed New Believers but were not equipped to
nurture Mature Sons. There would-be Matured Sons went to Babylon and they had no one who was equipped to receive them as they came back. So most of Would-Be Mature Sons fell off the way.

They had knowledge of the Word but did not have a leader who was graced to help them to Spring Forth from within. They were taken by forces of discouragement to go explore other teachings that were ready to “welcome them”.In the end they became the worst enemies of the gospel.

But God stirred the Prophetic and Apostolic Movement to come nurture the Sons from Babylon to be Mature Sons. These fathers and mothers were graced to nurture those who are from Babylon.

These are those whom Isaiah is addressing through prophetic grace in Isaiah 43:18.
They had experience of God’s move from Egypt. Now he says: Remember ye not the Former Things.
Former Things included the great moves of the miracles from Egypt. Former things included good things.

They were going to arrange Revivals to fix the Former Move of God. Many had come with former things so that these things will be fixed. Revival brings back former things. Revival does not Do A New Thing. For you to get a New Thing you need to come with NOTHING from Egypt. NOTHING from Canaan. NOTHING from Babylon.

Which move of God are you expecting? Rain Down? Spring Forth?

Summary for the Mature Sons:
Isaiah 43:18-19
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.

Summary for the New Believers:
Deuteronomy 8:3-3
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every [word] that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Those who have ears let them hear what the Spirit has to say. The Word above was our last paragraph in the past session.

Today I have come to say to you God has a place for Son and Daughters from Babylon as well.
No need to compete with Sons From Egypt. No need to be hurt by those who are graced only to nurture Sons from Egypt. No matter how many testimonies those from Egypt carry. No matter how much the sea opened and swallowed the Egyptians. Those are miracles for the Sons from Egypt.

You have been there as well. There are the miracles that Rained Down.
You have prayed and said: O! Lord! Rain down on me! He said: That I did for those who were from Egypt. But you must pray and say: O! Father! Spring Forth from within me!

I want to keep emphasizing these two verses for you to understand the difference.

This does not mean there is nothing anymore that has to rain down on us.
But it means we have much deposits that have rained down and went to settle deep at the bosom of the earth that we are and we are left with nothing but a Wilderness.

I encourage you to find a community of believers where there is grace to
welcome those who have detoured to Babylon and not only those who are new from Egypt.
Or else you will go from church to church competing with those who are from Egypt.

They will all be testifying about the Red Sea that opened up. They will be testifying of Jericho walls that fell down.
But for mature sons there are Nehemia fathers who will want you to build a wall.
For mature sons there are Ezras who will encourage you to be taught the
Word. For mature sons there will be Zecharia’s and Habbakuks who will encourage you to build the Temple and the Wall.

New Believers saw Red sea open. They saw Jericho wall falling. And they all perished in the Wilderness. They never survived the Wilderness. If Nehemiah met this group and said “Come let’s build the wall!” They were going to answer: We saw the greatest wall of Jericho fall without touching it. Let’s aske the same God to build with the same power!
No wonder they call all the prophets after Babylon: Minor Prophets; because they did not have the revelation of mature sons.

When a prophet says: Come let’s build a wall; they call him a Minor Prophet. When a prophet says: Stand here and see the wall fall down!; they call that one a Major Prophet.

Will you join the Mature Sons and Build the Wall?
Or will you join the New Believers and watch a wall fall down?

Shalom
