1 Corinthians 13:11-11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
I said in the earlier chapters Paul looks into what the Corinthians are doing in spite of being anointed. This reminds him of his days when he was already anointed but spoke like a child.
I want you to first hear how Paul opened this discussion as he is lovingly correcting the Corinthians:
1 Corinthians 4:15-15
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
Well Paul is revealing the reason why they are anointed yet not fully representing the Kingdom of the Father. He says to them it is not enough to flow in miracles to be representing this Kingdom but one must be fathered.
We are back to this time in our church history. When you speak like a child you are exposed to every adult. An adult Buddhist sees when you speak like a child. A mature Muslim sees when you speak like a child. A mature Businessman sees when you speak like a child. Even my son who is now 12 years is able to point out when a preacher is speaking like a child.
This is an open door in our Christian Community and we are just about t be embarrassed at a continental or global level. We need fathers who will stand up and reach out in love to these anointed children.
